Hi Gary, I met you at the little soiree at Frenchy's in Auburn after you had appeared on KAHI with Loyce Smallwood. What a fun time I had. I honestly can't remember feeling so frivolous and full of fun for ages. Although I have never considered myself a "singer" you had me singing along and enjoying it. I am still singing, especially when I listen to my Under The Sea Album. I play it for any car passenegers I have and everyone has loved it, especially the underwater yodelling. Thanks for the gift. Great new CD. The arrangements all sound really good, which is a little surprising considering the massive amount of talent on this disk. You know how to pick 'em. I especially liked Plastic Island. For some reason that one spoke to me musically. Also, I didn't know you knew Mary Youngblood. She's been a good friend of my mom's for years. Small world.
Anyway, carry on. Good stuff.

I played the samples for my students, and they truly enjoyed them. At first they laughed, but then they "got into the groove," so to speak! (They are 6th grade science, by the way.) What a fun way to introduce concepts -- too bad we've already passed this unit this year. Next year, though...!
