Gary Bowman's Song of the Bugs
GARY'S LATEST: "Song of the Bugs" is a collection of original songs celebrating the amazing world of our six-legged friends, set to Classic Rock, Bluegrass, Folk, Pop and Country music, inspired by the writings of Shakespeare, Thoreau, Aesop, King Solomon, Robert Frost and Bill Martin, Jr. The project features a creative team of 20 talented friends, and features fan favorites: "Honey Bee Waggle", "Metamorphosis", "Dragonfly Dreams", "Dung Beetle Blues", "City Bug, Country Lights", and "Luna Moth Lullaby."
Areté Design Studio - Lyndsey Barrett
'Areté (Greek): excellence, quality, virtue.' Lyndsey Barrett, the owner of Areté Design Studio, designed the cover jacket for 'Song of the Oceans.' Lyndsey's sweet alto voice is featured on many of the project's songs, including: 'Slammin' Salmon', 'Plastic Island'', 'Where Whales Sing' and 'Wonders of the Sea'
Pennies for Peace
'Pennies for Peace' is a program of the Central Asia Institute (CAI). Pennies for Peace educates children about the world beyond their experience and shows them that they can make a positive impact on a global scale, one penny at a time.
Mary Youngblood
Mary Younglood is the premiere female Native American flute player in the country. She has been awarded two Grammy Awards for Best Native American Music Album, as well as three Native American Music Awards.
Heidi Clare Lambert
Heidi's musical résumé includes stints with the Round Valley Hogcallers (alongside co-founders Gary Bowman and Gene Cox), as well as with the legendary Reeltime Travelers. Heidi currently performs around the country as 'Heidi Clare and AtaGallup.' In her 'spare time,' she competes in "Ride & Tie' competitions ('two people, a horse and an exhilarating race').

Anna is a featured artist on the Good Shepherd's Studio website. On "Song of the Oceans," Anna's great voice can be heard on many of the songs, and is featured on "The Yodeling Sea Horse," "Slammin' Salmon" and "Sirens' Call"
Denny Russell Band
The Denny Russell Band plays original country rock, featuring songs about 'life, love, and everything in-between.' On 'Song of the Oceans', the band can be heard adding a hearty chorus of voices to 'Catch of the Day.' Denny's tenor harmonies can also be heard in the chorus of 'Wonders of the Sea.'
Flying Whale Recording
Bruce Wheelock is the owner/engineer of Flying Whale Recording. On 'Song of the Oceans', Bruce recorded and mixed 'The Yodeling Sea Horse', 'Slammin' Salmon', 'Where Whales Sing' and 'Polar Bear Blues.'
Ocean Action
A portion of every CD sale in Monterey County will be donated to "Ocean Action."
Monterey Bay Aquarium
The Monterey Bay Aquarium, located on Cannery Row in Monterey, California, USA, is one of the largest aquariums in the world - and has served as one of Gary's 'home away from home' for the past decade.
